The World Health Organisation (WHO) has been at the forefront of efforts to reduce hearing loss worldwide, working tirelessly to raise awareness, improve prevention, and promote hearing health initiatives across the globe. One of the leading UK initiatives in this fight is Listen for Life, which is quickly gaining momentum and is set to become a global force for change.
We are thrilled to announce that Robert Shepherd, Consultant Audiologist, is now representing the #Listenforlife Campaign
and the NTIA as lead of a work stream for the Make Listening Safe Initiative within the WHO’s World Hearing Forum in Geneva focused on creating, maintaining and monitoring safe listening venues and events… This is a significant step forward in the global effort to protect hearing health and reduce sound-induced hearing loss.
